“The atmosphere in the hostel is amazing, which is no surprise when you meet the staff. At any time they are ready to help if needed. It is possible to book a tour with an absolute competent guide who provides you with lots of information and lets no question about the people and the region unanswered. Very impressive! Furthermore it is possible to rent a bike in the hostel to explore the area around the nearby lake and have lunch or ice cream in one of the villages you will pass through.
In the evenings I liked just to hang around a bit and have interesting discussions with the staff, people from around the area or other travelers.

Our hostel is located in the pulsing heart of Mariwan’s historical center. It not only neighbors the bazaar and various attractions, but it’s also twenty minutes walking distance from Zaribar lake
Lockers & Storage
Guests can comfortably explore Marivan and the area without any extra weight or worrying about precious items. Each guest has an individual locker for storing personal valuables and we have a storage space by the communal room.

Our renovated 100-year-old building retains the charm of older Kurdish architecture while have new beds and bedrolls in all of its four bedrooms.

We also have clean, communal bathrooms with showers in, a Western toilet in our yard that are cleaned three times a day.
